Brean Murray, Carret & Co. Continues Expansion of Equity Research Team - Announces Addition of 2 Senior Analysts

NEW YORK  —  June 9, 2011 - Brean Murray, Carret & Co. a leading research-driven investment bank and asset management firm is pleased to announce the addition of 2 new senior hires to the BMC Equity Research Team.

Todd Mitchell joins the technology team as a senior analyst focused on the Cable, Satellite and Interactive Media sectors. Todd joins BMC from Kaufman Brothers were he was consistently ranked the top analyst. Prior to Kaufman, he was a senior equity analyst covering Cable & Satellite at Blaylock Partners, Solomon Smith Barney and Bank of America. Todd received a B.A. from Vassar College and an MBA from George Washington University.

Raymond Deacon, CFA joins the natural resources team as a senior analyst focused on the Oil and Natural Gas Exploration and Production sector. Ray joins BMC from Pritchard Capital Partners. Prior to Pritchard, he was a senior equity analyst covering E&P analyst at BMO Capital Markets, First Albany Corporation (Gleacher & Company), and RBC/Dain Rauscher. Ray holds an MBA in Finance from NYU and an undergraduate degree from Colgate University.
